GO!

So a little about me — I’ve been buying records (and to a lesser degree CDs and cassettes) for over three decades. My teens and twenties were spent largely building a collection of punk, hardcore and indie rock. In my 30s things changed, as my previously limited tastes began to expand by leaps and bounds. This broader appreciation for musical styles resulted in an even deeper passion for records. That said, I’m not a record collector. While my preference is to listen to music on vinyl, I don’t seek out the most limited pressings of records, and I typically find a nice reissue just as satisfying as an original copy. I live in Los Angeles and can easily drive to several great record stores. I also do my fair share of mail order, but rarely buy records on Discogs or ebay.

I’m not certain what long term shape this blog will take. I’ll write about music I find interesting. That’s the only promise I can make.

Thanks for reading.
